I'm sitting here in my little workshop at Woohah, in Braeside, with my thoughts bouncing off the many things that occupy my mind in this odd time. I'm going to document them for my own sake, which is the same reason I am doing this blog - for me.

Perhap others at same stage will read my ramblings and get something from them and maybe they may never read them or find anything worthwhile in them.

A view from the workshop doorway

I have worked at Woohah for 16 weeks at I can confidently say that they collectively are the nicest bunch of co-workers you could ever come across. A broad range of fellows with an even broader range of skills and all able and willing to "pitch in".
Lots of young, enthusiastic, full of life, funny guys and girls being led by quite a few wiser, very skilled, also funny slightly older people. Overall, I will remember my brief period here very fondly and hope that each and every one of them do well in the future and have a happy productive life reaching their goals.

Back to me. Three and half years ago Tiz and I packed up our house in Watsonia to head of for the "never ending" adventure we had long spoken, dreamed and planned about. The outcome of that is well known so I won't bother going into it again. Having said that though we didn't suffer because of it as we ended up in Safety Beach, got very healthy with a drastic change of lifestyle, made new friends, learned new skills, watched our children flourish and did even better planning for the next attempt at our never ending adventure.
